ABOUT GRA
Our passionate desire is to finish the already finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary by Jesus Christ Himself who is in "us" and who alone is our only hope of exceeding eternal weight of glory from within us. We are convinced that God's primary means of relating to and transforming the world is the church. Thus, where there is no church, we are committed to evangelism and starting churches . Where a church exists, we are committed to strengthening the church by establishing them in the present truth (11 Pet 1: 12), developing leaders, and equipping the church to fulfill and finish Christ's Commission. We seek to humbly serve and boldly challenge churches in their obedience to God's mandate to be witnesses in the entire world especially in the unreached areas of the world. We desire to be a church-planting mission and a mission-planting mission! Hence we go from " From Mission to
Mission"
Focus on Unreached People Groups
We focus on the unreached peoples of the world who have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, specifically those who live in the 10/40 Window in Africa, Asia, Middle East and beyond.
The 10/40 Window is the rectangular shaped window of the glove where majority of the unreached people of our world live. It is sometimes referred to as the "Resistant Belt," or the 10/40 Window. It is actually an area located from 10° North to 40° North of the Equator and stretches from West Africa to East Asia.
This specific region is home to the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists. Two thirds of the world's population of spiritually lost and impoverished people for whom Jesus Christ bled and died live in this desperately needy mission field. Overwhelmed with poverty, disease and demonic deception, the people of the 61 countries in the 10/40 Window urgently need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Take a closer look at the staggering statistics:
- 97% of the people, who live in the least evangelized countries in the world, live in the 10/40 Window.
- 2.7 billion Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists live in the 10/40 Window.
- All of the top fifty least evangelized cities are in the 10/40 Window.
- 82% of the world's poorest of the poor live in the 10/40 Window (Average wage: $1.40/day) and only 8% of all missionaries work among them.
- Some of the strongest of Satan's strongholds enslaving billions of people to deception, disease, destruction and death are in the 10/40 Window.
Since it's founding in 1989 by Dr. Tayo Brown, God's Remnant Assembly has been God's faithful instruments to evangelize, make disciples, and plant churches to meet the spiritual, as well as physical needs of the unreached people in the 10/40 window. We gain access to some of the unreached people through traditional means or other avenues including education, humanitarian, and community or business development and healthcare activities. We encompass all true believers of God's word who share the same goal of fulfilling the great commission.
Sending Native Missionaries
God's Remnant Assembly also trains and sends native missionaries because they have proven extremely effective. They are already familiar with the language and culture, and they live at the level of the people they serve, thus removing many social barriers.
Up to date
The Lord is strategically sending us to the following nations, some of them are presently being reached and others will be reached as several willing individuals (The reapers of the Lord) are currently undergoing training, and are being sent by the Lord of the harvest to go and reap in this glorious harvest into His barn. These nations include but is not limited to *Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, *Belarus, Bhutan, Brunei, Chad, China, Comoro Islands, Egypt,
Ethiopia, Kuwait,* India, Iran, Iraq, Laos, Libya, Malaysia, Niger, *Northern Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, *Sudan, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, *Vietnam, Yemen and others. Currently, God's Remnant Assembly Mission Squad native missionaries have established several hundreds of churches and mission stations where no church existed before in several of these 10/40 window nations. On average, our missionaries establish approximately 5-10 fellowships every other month among the unreached villages and people groups. But none of this has come easily. Our native missionaries are paying a high price of suffering, hardship and intense persecution to see churches established. The churches planted in each culture are truly indigenous in character, self-governing, self-propagating and, as soon as possible, self-supporting. We facilitate local churches to send cross-cultural missionaries on GRA Mission Squad short and long-term mission trip to the harvest fields of the unreached nations. GRA Mission Squad works among several ethnic groups around the world. We also serve people who do not necessarily fit within a distinct ethnic or linguistic group, such as orphans in urban areas, refugees, rural farmers, young mothers, and many more types of groups.
With her headquarter in Maryland and over two hundred missionaries, several hundreds of native and foreign workers including two Mission Training Centers abroad, Joshua Generation Harvest Mission School and The House of "Obededom" and "Stephanas" known as the "Baltimore Washington School of the Holy Spirit " in Maryland, USA, we are just crossing the threshold of the Most Holy Place. This is uncharted territory: we have not passed this way heretofore. True Apostles and prophets sent by the Lord are eventually fastening their eyes of understanding on the LAME MAN - the Church, that sits at the gate called, BEAUTIFUL as they are saying to that man "the Church that is lame from his mother's womb", LOOK ON US , this LAME MAN (Acts 3: 1-11) cannot walk in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus Christ nor walk as He walked in this world (1 John 2: 5-6) but in this hour of intercession this corporate man (Many Membered-man body of the Lord Jesus Christ) will walk , leap and praise the Lord of the harvest (three-fold) over the harvest of the fruit of the spirit and multitude of souls in the unreached nations of the world in this Feast of Tabernacles of the Most Holy Place in the temple that has a gate called " Beautiful" to forever live there in this season of the Lord as against sitting at the gate (porto). To this end, we remain open to be taught, corrected or adjusted in our vision (Josh. 3:1-5; Isa. 55:9; 1 Cor. 2:9-16; Eph. 3:1-5, 16-21).
The Gospel is for the Whole World
Our Lord's command to "Go and make disciples of all nations" is as urgent today as it was when he first gave it to the apostles. There are more unevangelised people in the world in the 21st century than there were in the 1st century. Countries in which Gospel churches were established in past centuries are now more or less devoid of Christian witness. Turkey and North Africa are examples of this and need to be re-evangelised, as does much of Europe. We are committed to bringing the Gospel to unevangelised people wherever they are to be found. We have been apprehended by the Lord to go forth and reproduce ( take dominion ) after our own kind (Gen 1:11-12, 26-28). Evangelism to us is a way of life more than a given method. We are a soul winner (Prov. 11:30), and have been sent to love people, to convert and disciple our homes, neighborhoods and the Nations (Mat 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). Each of us in GRA manifests this service being the servant of the Lord (Mark 10:45), on self-start, not kick-start (have to be asked). We grow and serve with passion from His nature within, not a legal obligation (we have to), but from our love for God and His people (we want to and get to)! We joyfully do our part, our job, and then look around for extra to do! Our ears, our eyes, and our hearts are ever open to mature, enlarge, and expand our capacities for God in this New Day (Hos 6:1-3), and our hands and our feet are ever ready to do His will and walk in His paths as we grow up into Him (Pro 4:18; Eph 4:13,15).
Evangelism and Church Planting are Urgent Priorities
We are very aware of the great physical and material needs of millions of people in the world and many of our missionaries respond compassionately and practically to these needs. Our first priority, however, is to meet people's spiritual needs through the Gospel. All our missionaries, even those involved in medical and humanitarian ministries, feel the urgency of evangelism. We also see the vital need for establishing Gospel churches that will provide ministry for Christians and are centers of ongoing evangelistic activity.
The Lord Calls Individual Christians to Serve Him
A clear sense of the Lord's call is vital for missionary service. One aspect of the call is the conviction that the Gospel must be the first priority in our life. The details of where and when we are to serve the Lord may take some time to become clear, but there will be a growing determination that Christ must be pre-eminent in all things. We are committed to assisting Christians with a clear sense of call to go to any country in the world. One of the main reasons why we are now working in some countries is that the Lord sent us people who felt called to work there.

Local Churches Send Missionaries
Local churches, not mission agencies sends missionaries. The call to missionary service is tested first in the local church. Everyone who applies to serve with GRA - Mission Squad Worldwide must have their call endorsed by their local church. We are committed to involving the leaders of the local church in the application process, including the final interview. The ongoing pastoral care of our missionaries and key decisions affecting their ministry are undertaken in close fellowship with the leaders of their home church.
GRA Mission Squad Partners with Churches and Ministries.
We view the local church as the primary sending agent of missionaries, and GRA Mission Squad as the conduit that facilitates the church's sending. We highly value the unique church's inherent call and qualifications in the missionary sending process, and encourage the local church to do and be all that it is Biblically called to in world evangelization. We believe that we have unique resources to offer that benefit the sending process, such as experience and expertise in ministry in the 10/40 window nations. We also provide the oversight for field missionaries that local churches cannot provide from a distance. We want to help local churches with our resources and expertise. It is out of allegiance to the church that we require every missionary candidate to be commissioned and sent out by a local congregation. Our goal is to serve your church, to assist the accomplishment of your mission to the 10/40 window nations. Please let us know if you would like to talk with us further about how we may partner together.
Partnership is Essential to Effective Mission
The work is not ours, but the Lord's. We do not have a monopoly of gifts, wisdom or resources. Our missionaries work happily alongside other Christians and churches. Wherever possible, we work in partnership with churches and other mission agencies. In these ways we experience mutual enrichment and are able to make the best use of the resources the Lord has committed to us. We recognize that we are but stewards of that which the Lord has given (Psa. 115:16). We are systematic and proportionate givers of those things that have been given to us as a trust from God to be used in His service for the benefit of His Kingdom. The Lord God is the Owner of all things (see Gen. 14:19-22; Psa. 24:1; 50:1-12; 68:19; 89:11; Hag. 2:8). Men and women are His stewards, responsible and accountable to Him (Matt. 25:14-30; Lk. 19:11-26). We can use, abuse, or lose these divine allotments, these possessions: LIFE from God - what we have received; TIME from God- what we have been allotted; TALENTS from God - what we have given to use; POSSESSIONS from God - what has been entrusted to us; and FINANCES from God - what we have labored for.
Leadership Training is Vitally Important
Missionaries must be committed to developing the gifts and ministries of others. If newly established churches are to be effective in the long-term they must have good indigenous leaders. Leadership based on the Biblical model makes the training of others a priority. The future of the Gospel depends on successive generations of faithful men. Missionaries today need to be flexible and responsive to change. They need to be ready to move on and to take up new challenges. From a changed heart within, not legal obligation, we joyfully support the House of the Lord with our time (our attendance), our talent (our joints of supply), and our treasure (His tithe and our offerings). No one lives to himself/herself (Rom. 14:7). As various parts of His Body, (1 Cor. 10:16-17), we are members one of another (1 Cor. 6:15, 12:12-27; Eph. 4:25; 5:30), and are therefore responsible for one another. We absolutely refuse to lift our hand or raise our word against another brother or sister, knowing that any kind of speech that injures is slanderous, and we will be judged for every idle word by the Lord Himself (Matt. 12:36). We love the work of the Lord, the message and the messengers
