97%of the world's
unreached lives in the
10/40 Window.
In this part of the world, millions live with
little or no chance of ever hearing the Gospel. This window
also encompasses the majority of the world's Muslims,
Hindus, and Buddhists. 800,000 villages in North Africa
alone have never heard the Gospel. Although 97 percent of
the world's unreached live in the 10/40 Window, less than
1% of our total resources as the Church in the West are
being sent to help share the Good News.
With native missionaries we can reach them!
Native missionaries have…
no cultural barriers to overcome.
Native missionaries can...
readily preach the Gospel to those who have never
heard, unlike their western counterparts.
Although native missionaries
do face many difficult obstacles as they take the message
from village to village, they still have an enormous
advantage over their coworkers from North America and other
non-Asian lands.
Today, over 85 percent of
Asian countries do not allow western missionaries to
come and freely preach the Gospel and plant churches.
Native missionaries do not…
represent a foreign country or a strange religion
in the eyes of the people. They already know the language or
can easily learn a local dialect.
A native missionary can
be sent out at a fraction of the cost of a Western
missionary. In fact, the average cost is only $5,100 to
$6,000 per year compared to over $75,000 per year for a
foreign missionary.
The possibility of reaching
the multitudes of the 10/40 window through native
missionaries in our generation is very real as thousands are
being trained to plant churches in GRA all across these
region!
Prayers
We pray
through the window about the the political and spiritual
leaders of the 10/40 Window. Over four billion people live
here and most of these have never heard the Gospel message
even once.
But why?
Many of these nations lack religious freedom. Their
religion is dictated by their political and spiritual
leaders. When God wants to change a country, He moves on
the hearts of His people to pray. Fervent, effectual
specific prayer for the political and spiritual leaders of
the 10/40 Window can transform these 68 nations and their
leaders.
- Every major non-Christian religion is based here.
Islam is the predominant religion in 47 of these
countries, Buddhism in 12, Hinduism in two, tribal
religions in two, Christianity in four, Judaism in one,
and atheism in one.
- 43 of the 50 worst countries in the world for
persecution of Christians are here.
- Research shows that at least 26 countries in the
Window are Gospel-ready!
Won't you join with millions of believers around the
world as we pray fervently, knowledgeably, and
faithfully to break through the strongholds and advance
God's Kingdom in this part of the world? Please select a
nation or 2 every Thursday or which ever day you pray
specifically for these nations
