Our Missions Policy

Strategic Objectives

  1. Position GRA Mission Squad to be a vital part of the harvest among presently unreached people groups in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
  2. Mobilize resources from the western world for missionary work among unreached peoples in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
  3. Take the initiative, through selective partnering, to spread the gospel to these country's most needy areas.
  4. Create opportunities for GRA members and other partnering Churches and ministries to increase their involvement in cross-cultural missions and be a part of God's redemptive work in Africa, Asia and the Middle East as well as in the United States.

Guiding Principles

  1. Our work is people-oriented and organized to have the earliest impact on the ground.
  2. We follow biblical principles in fund raising, declaring the need; trusting God to supply the needs; and motivating members of the body of Christ contacted to give voluntarily and sacrificially.
  3. Projects supported with GRA mission funds are evaluated from time to time to ensure that the Lord's expectations are met.
  4. We work with mission agencies, churches or individual missionaries who:
    • are committed to evangelizing unreached people groups;
    • have a reasonable record of growth and viability;
    • are Evangelical and Pentecostal in their belief and operations;
    • have transparent leadership and are financially accountable to their members; and
    • possess a clear focus on church planting and discipleship among unreached peoples.

Operational Priorities

  1. Develop creative and transparent programs to raise funds and other resources from within and outside GRA for missionary work in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
  2. Encourage persistent prayers for missions following a consistent and systematic approach especially for the 10/40 Window nations of the world.
  3. Select partners to work within Africa, Asia and the Middle East, using the criteria identified under our Guiding Principles.
  4. Obtain and share with supporters, information from missionaries and mission fields in Africa, Asia and the Middle East..
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of projects funded by GRA.
  6. Make Financial Statements available to supporters for proper accountability and to keep the vision for missions fresh in their hearts.
  7. Continue to build missions awareness in the western Churches and ministries, highlighting needs and accomplishments on the fields to motivate the saints of God.
  8. Undertake regular mission trips to Africa, Asia and the Middle East by GRA Mission Squad and other believers for increased ministry effectiveness.
