The Bible is a wonderful treasure of wisdom and knowledge covering the entire spectrum of human existence.All truth about God, the church, nations, natural and scientific knowledge and every individual human life is contained in the Bible (John 17: 17, Col 2: 3).
The Bible does not exaggerate: if it says all the treasures of wisdom are hid in it then it is so. Notice these treasures are there but they are hidden. In the same way God's plan for every individual life is hidden in the Bible. Since this truth is hidden it is only the Holy Spirit that can guide us into revelation. Without the Holy Spirit, we can easily get lost in the maze of the Word and be deceived or misled by our flesh or the devil into misinterpreting or misapplying the hidden truth contained therein. The Holy Spirit alone is the one who can show or reveal to us things to come by helping us to understand the hiddentruths, types and shadows or what the Bible also calls hidden manna.
